Niamh's career began when she first set foot onto the set of Ridley Scott's 'The Last Duel', shortly after graduating from DIT Film School. From there, her interest in filmmaking grew and she soon began to work as an assistant for some of the most notable directors in the industry. After three years of assisting, shadowing, and learning from directors, she made the leap towards directing and writing herself.

With a keen interest in female and queer stories, Niamh is interested in blending humour, style, and nostalgia in her work whilst also reflecting the vast types of human relationships. She is drawn to telling stories through a rose-tinted, feminine, romantic lens that tends to juxtapose the nature of the stories, as she enjoys experimenting with the feeling of vulnerability.

Niamh's visual style tends to be seeping in colour, with a keen interest in shooting projects on film.
